Fall 2014, ESW will be hosting the Alternative Energy Challenge again around December 2014!

 

The Alternative Energy Challenge (AEC) is a student-run competition to foster innovation in the field of alternative energy and to give students an opportunity to gain experience working on a team-based, hands-on project.

 

• Each team will be given a chance to submit a written proposal outlying the details of their design by September 26, 2014.

• Top three proposals will each receive $500 to build their prototypes.

• This is a great opportunity to interact with corporate and faculty members!

• Teams will present their designs to a panel of judges which may consist of faculty, industry, and graduate students.

• The second place winners will recieve $300!

• The first place winners will recieve $1000!
